My Skincare Routine + Favorite Skincare Products

Everyone’s skin type is different. That’s why it’s so hard to choose what products help your skin. Let me show you what I use for my skin in the summer!

My skin is different during the seasons. In the summer my skin gets really oily. In the winter it becomes drier. So allow me to share with you my summer skincare routine! Hopefully, I’ll make another post for my winter skincare routine!

My favorite daily cleanser for the Summer is Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Cleanser.

The reasons I love this as my daily cleanser: Smells so yummy! Seriously, like fruit. It’s gentle. Doesn’t leave any weird sticky residue.

“For a sparkling, clear complextion. Green tea and chamomile pacify while passionfruit balances skin. Your skin looks clean, claer and healthy every day.”

My current favorite exfoliator is Origin’s Modern Friction!

I love the way you can tell this stuff works! When you use a small dab on the skin and massage it in the little grains rub against your skin and you can feel the exfoliating happen! I use my handy-dandy exfoliating brush with this product! This is perfect for the evening!

“Featuring skin-refining rice, it gently removes rough patches, dull cells, uneven spots and signs of skin damage while lemon oil helps to brighten.”

Kick Blackhead’s butt with this awesome mask, Formula 10.0.6 Three Times Sublime!

This can also be used as a scrub as well, instead of leaving it on for 10-15 minutes. The natural ingredients in this are one of the reasons I love this product!

“To remove excess oil, unclog pores and eliminate blemishes. Pink grapefruit cleanses while jojoba exfoliates.”

The best charcoal mask is Origins Clear Improvement!

It always works best after you wash your face first! I love this mask, but I tend to lean towards grabbing the Three Time Sublime mask more often. I usually leave it on about 10-15 minutes, even though it doesn’t label the time you should leave it on.

“Bamboo Charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental toxins, Lecithin dissolves impurities. Skin looks clear, feels perfectly pure.”

The clarifying lotion I use for oily skin is Clinique’s no.3!

It is super easy to apply. I use a cotton ball to soak up some from the bottle and apply it all over my face. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and super clean!

“Helps block a blemish. Purifies pores to look cleaner, smaller. Skin grows stronger, stays clearer, healthier. Dermatologist-reformulated to be comfortable, non-drying.”

Overnight Mask I’m using currently is Origins Drink Up Intensive!

This is the first overnight mask I’ve ever used and I love it! I was worried that I would get it all over my bed in the middle of the night, but honestly, I didn’t have a problem with it. When I wake up my face feels so dewy fresh, just make sure you rinse it off! It also smells wonderful!

“This intense moisture replacement mask with avocado and apricot kernel oil deeply and instantly quenches compromised moisture reserves and builds a reservoir for tomorrow.”

My favorite moisturizer has to be Clinique’s dramatically different moisturizing gel!
It’s super smooth and feels really nice on your skin. Perfect for before applying makeup or just as a moisturizer for the day!

“It helps keep your skin looking younger, longer, and can also be used as your lighter summer moisturizer.”

Myth: If you have oily skin you don’t have to moisturize!

Fact: Even though your skin is oily, you need to moisturize! Your skin secrets sebum (oil) but when you wash away the extra oil your skin creates and don’t moisturize, your skin creates even more sebum to make up for the amount you removed.
I don’t use all these products every day. Because not every day my skin is the same. Remember to listen to your skin and see what it needs.
